Indoor AC disconnect switches are suitable for AC 50Hz power systems with a rated voltage of 12kV and below. They are equipped with a manual operating mechanism and are used for switching electrical appliances on and off when there is voltage but no load. The performance of this product conforms to the specifications of GB/T 1985 "AC High Voltage Disconnect Switches and Grounding Switches".The applicable scenarios are mainly installed in indoor switch cabinets, substations, and factory distribution rooms, used for busbar sectioning, isolation at the incoming end of transformers, or in conjunction with circuit breakers to achieve safe maintenance.

Structure and Characteristics

 

  • Three-phase structure: It is composed of a base frame, a rotating shaft, porcelain post insulators, knife switches, etc. Each phase's contact knife is a double-slot copper plate (with good heat dissipation and high strength), and it also has a magnetic lock plate (to enhance the contact knife attraction and improve stability in case of short circuit).
  • Operation mode: Equipped with CS6-1 manual mechanism, it also supports electric operation (optional). There is a clearly visible disconnection gap when opening and closing the switch to ensure the safety of maintenance.
  • Derivative models: There are wall-penetrating type (GN19-12C) (suitable for wall-penetrating installation of switch cabinets), anti-pollution type, high-altitude type, and it can also be equipped with a live display device.

 

 

Installation Process (10-step Simplified Version)

 

1. Unpacking and inspection → Confirm that the main body and accessories are complete, the porcelain bottle is undamaged and the parameters match

2. Position the installation surface → Clean the crossbeam/bracket of the switch cabinet to ensure it is flat and meets the load-bearing standards

3. Fix the main body → Secure the underframe with M12 bolts, with a tightening torque of ≥40N · m

4. Calibrate the three-phase positions → Adjust the three-phase center distances (according to the design drawings, such as 210mm)

5. Connect the operating connecting rod → Connect the main body's rotating shaft to the CS6-1 mechanism and adjust the length of the connecting rod

6. Manual test operation → Open and close the switch twice to confirm that there is no jamming when touching the knife and no deviation in position

7. Check the opening gap → The gap after opening should be ≥180mm, and the contact depth after closing should be ≥80%

8. Electrical wiring → Apply conductive paste to busbar/cable joints, and the tightening torque of bolts should be ≥35N · m

9. Insulation test → Use a 2500V megohmmeter to measure insulation. A resistance of ≥1000MΩ is considered qualified

10. Final verification → Mark the opening and closing positions and record the installation parameters
