The GRGL series load disconnect switches are suitable for AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 660V, and DC rated voltage up to 440V, with a rated current range of 125A-1600A. These load disconnect switches feature a glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester housing. A spring-loaded acceleration mechanism enables rapid connection and disconnection. Two parallel double-break contact surfaces are used, with a leaf spring ensuring contact pressure. The switches automatically determine the extreme on/off positions and have clear on/off markings to indicate the position.

Environmental Condition:

 

The switch shall operate reliably under the following conditions:

Altitude not exceeding 2000 meters;

Ambient temperature not exceeding +40℃ and not falling below -5℃;

Relative humidity not exceeding 95%;

No explosive atmosphere, and the atmosphere shall be free of gases and dust that could corrode metals or damage insulation;

No significant shaking or impact vibration;

No rain or snow intrusion.

 

Usage and maintenance:

 

 The switch should be installed vertically. Before installation, check that the nameplate information meets the usage requirements. Confirm that the switch is in the off position. Move the switch operating handle; if the arrow on the handle points to "0" and the observation window also displays "0", the switch is in the off position. If the arrow points to "|" and the observation window also displays "|", the switch is in the closed position.

 

 The terminals and bare busbars on the switch should be wrapped with insulation to prevent short circuits between phases.

 

  If the extended shaft of the externally operated switch is different from the handle hole, do not move the extended shaft to avoid damaging internal parts. Always adjust the switch position to make it coaxial.

 

 The switch should be maintained approximately every six months. If rotating parts are not flexible, apply MP-3 grease. Check for loose fasteners. Repair as needed; if damage is severe, stop using the switch.
