Q: What should I do if a disconnector is mistakenly pulled or closed while under load during operation?
A: A mistaken disconnector generates an arc as soon as the contacts separate. Closing the disconnector immediately can extinguish the arc and prevent an accident. However, if all contacts are already open, reclosing the mistakenly pulled contact is not permitted. For single-pole disconnects, if one phase is operated and the other two phases are mistakenly pulled, continue operation.
