Sf6 Gas Load Break Switch

The SF6 gas load-break switch (230mm) is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz, 12kV ring network power supply systems. It is used to make and break load and overload currents. It can also be used to make and break unloaded long lines, unloaded transformers, and capacitor banks.

This SF6 gas load-break switch has a phase spacing of 230mm, with other phase spacings available in 200mm, 210mm, 275mm, and 350mm. It uses SF6 gas as the arc extinguishing and insulating medium. The switch has three internal positions: closing, opening, and grounding. It features a compact size, easy installation and operation, and strong environmental adaptability.

1. Features: Double-break, three-position, rotary moving contact.
2. Excellent insulation performance. The load switch consists of sealed upper and lower epoxy resin-cast housings, which are filled with SF6 gas at a pressure of 0.045 MPa. The main circuit and grounding circuit systems are all contained within the housing.
3. Excellent safety performance. If an internal arc occurs, a structural weakness at the rear of the housing will break, causing the arc relief valve on the cabinet to open and direct the overpressure airflow out of the cabinet. 4. Both manual and electric operation are possible, ensuring convenient and reliable operation.
4. The three-phase integrated installation offers excellent cycle life, a small number of parts, and simple and easy adjustment and installation. It is maintenance-free and has a long service life.

The load switch operating mechanism has two modes: manual operation and electric operation.

For manual operation, the operating lever is used to manually rotate the transmission rod according to the operating procedure. The spring of the mechanism stores energy, which opens and closes the load switch and grounding switch.

For electric operation, the load switch and grounding switch are opened and closed by simply pressing the indicator button on the instrument panel.
