Product Description

The GW5 series hv isolators utilize a modular, single-column, telescopic outdoor structure. Its core components include a conductive circuit, insulating support, operating mechanism, base frame, and optional earthing switch. These 50Hz AC outdoor high-voltage electrical devices are available in 40.5kV, 72.5kV, and 126kV rated voltages. They are designed to open and close high-voltage lines in live, no-load conditions and to electrically isolate electrical equipment such as high-voltage busbars and circuit breakers under maintenance from energized high-voltage lines. They can also be used to switch low-capacitance or inductive currents.
